I can empathize with ALL of you. In '92, I invested my savings in a now defunct Long Beach helicopter firm named American Aircraft Corporation (AARC) on Nasdaq. It went straight down. To add insult, i bought through escrow so I had to suffer the pain of waiting a year. Little did I know, the fella who I pooled my cash with didn't actually buy escrow stock! The goof blew it on dope and Molson beer. I tape recorded the character and I'm currently suing his estate given that he is DEAD! Lastly, it also seems that my 'friend' stiffed his girlfriend, family, and prominent people. None have bothered to sue his estate except me. I wonder why?
The moral of this sad story is that one should always tape record, and keep written documents of everything said in an non-arm's length transaction.
As for Venga, start with a complaint to the Ontario Securities Commission. There probably is money but it's offshore in a tax haven like Belize or the Turks & Caicos.
Did any of you keep the press clippings when the stock was trading at a $1.00? Who was the underwriter of the stock? They have got some explaining to do!
