Monday, March 2, 1998 (Vancouver, BC) - President and Chief Executive Officer of Kelso Technologies Inc., Stephen L. Grossman, is pleased to announce the appointment of Century Communications Corporation, a Vancouver based Corporate Communications and Investor Relations firm to implement an investor and media information campaign throughout North America.

Century Communications will be targeting the media, financial and investment community and transportation industry with the aim of creating increased awareness about Kelso and the launch of its JS75 SRV, an innovative new safety relief valve designed to help prevent explosions in tankers that contain hazardous materials such as liquid pressurized gases. The term of the appointment is one year with a renewal option.

"It is an exciting time for Kelso," said Grossman. " The JS75 SRV is the first innovation in safety relief valve technology in several years, and it is currently in front of the Association of American Railroads for certification for service trial testing. The possibilities for Kelso are immense, and we wanted to work with a company which could communicate that message across North America. Century Communications had the reputation and experience we were looking for."

According to Blair Qualey, Sr. Vice President of Century Communications Corporation, Century has developed successful communications programs for a number of publicly listed companies on Canadian and U.S. stock exchanges to reach the general public, financial organizations and shareholders. As a member of the Communicate Canada Consortium, Century Communications has representation in all major cities in Canada and in selected financial centers in the United States, Europe and Asia.

"We are very enthusiastic about working with Kelso Technologies Inc.," said Qualey. "Our comprehensive information strategy will assist Kelso's continued growth and allow the Company to maximize exposure to the investment community and the transportation industry".

Kelso Technologies is committed to developing its JS SRV technology to market a complete range of safety relief valves for a variety of areas including the rail, marine, trucking, petroleum, pipeline and boiler pressure industries.
