Mike, Thanks for posting the list of famous Latin phrases. The one that resonated most with me was the quotation by Phaedrus " Varietas delectat." Many years ago, I watched the Johnny Carson show. His guest was the distinguished anthropologist, Ashley Montague. Carson asked Montague what was the best aphrodisiac. Montague shot back, "Variety", copying Phaedrus. Bernie "aphrodisiac" is a medical compound used for the same purpose as Viagra, Muse, etc. This sentence is for the edification of those who might want to know the relevance of the utterances to biotechnology.
