GGEN's burn rate has been high on my list of concerns about the company and I was reassured by their recent press release. They STILL have almost $1/share in cash whereas at yearend, as I recall, they had only slightly more than $1/share. This is better than I was expecting.
As you know I have always thought that the unrecognized value in this company is in the health supplements -- nutriceuticals, I think they are now called -- rather than in the drugs.
I continue to hear favorable rumors, but they are still, at this point, ONLY rumors, and since "possible" deals and "talks" with big companies often fall through I haven't published what I've heard. I had thought some announcements of other deals for GGEN would have been made by now. Given how long this is all taking, I am glad I exercised discretion and did not spread the rumors. Small companies dealing with big companies so often meet with delay, delay, delay. So, I think it's best to remain sceptical until the deals are actually done.
