I'm not saying how much Bellcore is involved because I don't know. I objected to the verbage of the note that made it sound like Bellcore had paid for the shares. A technology transfer is thought of a lot differently than a cash outlay because the expense of developing the technology is sunk. Been there with other telephone partnerships and it's the truth whether you want to believe it or not. At any rate I will make a few calls to people I know at Bellcore and see if I can dig something up. Sorry for not reading the whole thread; I'm not currently invested and am thinking of getting in.

Sometimes I admit I get mixed up as to whether Valence is developing a battery or a cold fusion engine. Don't get me wrong, I'm impressed that Bellcore is involved but it should be understood and not overstated. Trading sunk costs for shares isn't exactly like trading unspent money for shares.

Let's avoid cheerleading and welcome a bit of skepticism. It's good for your wallet.

Phil
