I believe the year was 1984. It was a play on the George Orwell story of the same name. MacIntosh against big brother (IBM). Great ad. People still remember it. For all: am new to SI. Long CPQ. I think the doom and gloom on the thread is a little overdone. Short term we may correct, but this is a company with vision. I suspect we will be very happy this time next year. I can only imagine the potential once DEC is folded in and this company covers all the bases.
