Approach Schmidt with olive branch

This is nonsense. I am absolutely amazed that some people here cannot use what is between their ears. You actually think corporate decisions involve whether Joe and Schmidt get along? SO Joe should approach SChmidt with an olive branch? But there isn't any conflict in the first place and what difference does it make to Novell's future?

Novell is squarely in the gunsights of MSFT. With NT5.0 MSFT will attempt to marginalize Novell in the enterprise. Novell's strategy to date is to hold onto its enterprise customers. That is a defensive strategy. On the offense I see nothing. The low end of the market is gone. The high end is a "hold". And I'm wating for the BOD to figure it out.

This is Novell's problem not Joe's.
