packaged before dicing, sounds like a big labor saver. klic owns 51% of this venture, as i recall. thru 97, klic contributed 16.8m, and loaned fct 5m fiscal 97 and agreed in october 97 to loan additional 5-10m during 98. seems the r%d is geared to automating the back-end and cutting steps out of the entire process. a lot of out-sourcing and new software needed, but klic on the cutting edge(pun intended) and is positioned to benefit from these technical advances. streamlining=increased efficiency=leader in field=larger margins=mo money, in a perfect world.jh
