You have made some good points here!

My question would be that since DELL's turn rate is so HIGH, and the manufacturers are LOWERING the prices of the components that DELL uses, DELL can move out the old equipment in a HURRY, even if they have to DROP the price a bit, they don't have weeks of inventory to move.

Can't DELL maintain its margins by just passing the LOWER component prices on, and thereby making the same on a 'per machine' basis?

Will there be any 'gain' as DELL ramps up to meet demand as the computers become affordable for more people?

One thing that can be said about the stock market, "It goes UP, and it goes DOWN!"

IMHO, I don't think that DELL will be 'dead' until another company can successfully 'clone' DELL and then they will have to outperform DELL!
