Daniel- You are right, it appears that MOT has major problems with their cdma infrastructure. Lucent, Nortel and Q don't seem to have the same problems. The big advantage of cdma is more capacity, but if the Mot systems are not working properly, then the capacity suffers. This reflects negatively on Mot, not cdma, although some may lump Mot problems with cdma. As you can guess, I hope this means more business for qcom.

It will be interesting to see what platform(s) the Mexicans choose in the coming weeks, a lot of pressure form the GSM folks to go GSM even though their neighbor is largely cdma.
