AMD disclosed in a SEC filing it expected revenue to fall and its loss to widen in 1Q98 Advanced Micro Devices Inc. (AMD) fell as much as 1 3/8 to 21 3/8 after the chipmaker disclosed in a regulatory filing that it expects revenue to fall and its loss to widen in the first quarter, compared with the fourth quarter of 1997 when it lost 9 cents a diluted share. Analysts are expecting AMD to lose 17 cents, the average estimate from IBES. From bloomberg.com
