It doesn't take much intuition to realize that AMLN won't perform until it releases clearly positive Phase III data for Type I. Data from the Type I Euro trial to be released in 4thQ98 is, for all practical purposes, their last chance for pramlintide. Given the marginal data released last Aug., this is a coin toss. I don't mean to sound sarcastic; I'm just amazed (not surprised) at Murphy's comments. Rudy
