Started my research into VIAS and found something very interesting. In 1996 they hired and fired a CFO in just 9 weeks. The CFO (Alvin Holland) said they fired him because he refused to participate in fraud. The company claims that Mr. Holland was boasting about being the next chairman and refused to obey orders.

This raised my brow in that a company would hire an executive and fire that same executive within a 9 week period. Just because he was cocky. That is a rather short frame of time to give a guy a chance to come out of his bubble. I am feeling that Mr. Holland may have told the truth about the fraud. For now this is enough of a question in my mind to avoid VIAS. I try to make a point of trusting the management of the companies I invest in.

BTW APCO has a whole lotta juice right now. And I LIKE IT
