Well... As I expected high techs are going to be hit very hard starting tomorrow (and actually a couple of weeks sooner that I had anticipated): From briefing after the close of market on 3/4/98: Intel Corp (INTC) 86 7/16 +1 1/8: chip giant warning that it expects Q1 revenues and net to fall short of Street estimates; expects a 10% sequential decline in revenues from the $6.51 bln reported in the 4th qtr, or approx. $5.86 bln; puts gross margin at 53%; cites weaker than anticipated demand for the shortfalls.... Tomorrow high techs will be hit badly, but IMHO the best shopping time is not here yet! If you are in a shopping mode wait a couple of weeks, and start buying SUNW, MSFT, IBM, LSI, AMD, TXN beginning the end of March through perhaps end of May. The returns 6-12 months after that, will put a huge smile on not only your face but also your grand children's faces and their generations to come! As always just my humble opinion.
