paul, first of all, get your insults right. when xlnx was 10-15 points higher and altr was the same you said all i could do was read a financial statement b/c i said those companies weren't growing eps nd their valuations were nutso. i didn't understand the technology was your claim then. you are confused. so confused.

of course, you said the technology was cool and that was all that mattered. and that was before the 25%+ haircut ;-)

but then, i was right and youwere wrong and never posyed to me again ;-)

of course, a rank amateur in the markets would look sequentially at eps without comprehending this is a seasonal business. a rank amateur would ignore the yty zero growth and dropping margins. a rank amateur would extrapolate as though christmas is now in march, june and september ;-)

come on paul, i don't believe you are an amateur. but ask yourself, why would you compare q3 to q4 when q4 96 to q4 97 is a 100 times better measurement and their is no growth and likely to be less this q when compared yty? are intel investors that amateuris to believe such nonsensical crap?

is this an emotional issue with you?

btw, sorry about the stress that altr and/or xlnx caused you. but, i tried to warn you. you just wouldn't listen.
