Am I the only investor here who has invested in companies that are a party to a lawsuit? Am I the only one who finds it ODD that this lawsuit is holding up the financials for soooo long? I've held stock in more than one company that was involved in a lawsuit. It's very simple really. They set aside X amount of money in reserves pending the outcome of the lawsuit. Next they footnote the financials indicating that what the reserve is for (ie. what the lawsuit pertains to, whether they perceive it as a nuisance suit or not, worst case scenario for damages vs. best case etc.) and they put out the DAMN financials for the shareholders to scrutinize. Every public company doing business in the 90's is going to be a party to a lawsuit at some point. This does not prevent most from filing their financials. Lawsuits can be dragged out for months/years. If they're waiting for the suit to be resolved we may NEVER see the 10-k. Seems like a smoke screen to me. JMHO....
