Phil AAPL's trading summary you posted today was intriguing The new CEO will be given stock options, and if hired within 30 days as you mentioned , he or she should be included in the proxy. If so it will be a revised proxy . The last proxy had a 15 day SEC notice before finalizing , which has not been filed in final form . Considering the 4/22/98 Annual Meeting date and the time required for re-filing the proxy notice , then its mailing and return , makes me wonder if some of the increased volume is from insider knowledge of a not yet publicized proxy . The Cannavino CEO rumor is interesting as both he (JC) and S. Jobs will be keynoting major events in NYC on 3/18/98 . Just musing , but would appreciate any thoughts . Jim K.
