Peter,

I have done the same calculation as you for SKM and found a premium of 75% (March 3), but am not 100% sure about the name of the underlying South Korean stock. I used ticker TKEL5 referring to Korea mobile telecommunications corporation, rather than South Korean Telecom (which I could not locate). Is this the name you used also to calculate the premium?

Have you read anything more on the size of the premium? Any news on the recent price declines? The increase in the limit to foreign participation to 50% in December on the surface appears to have eroded premiums substantially, from reportedly 135% (without causing however a decline in price in SKM given the recovery of the won), but if the information posted earlier on this site is correct, that foreign participation will only be expanded next year (and by 5%), there may not be much to worry about.

I found the following site extremely useful for tracking fx changes and stock prices on world exchanges:
stocksmartpro.com

Greetings
