I posted a few days ago that i put a MARKET order to sell 1000 CPQ about 6 minutes before the close about a week ago.The order never executed.Next day CPQ was downgraded and I took a $1700.00 loss instaed of a $250.00 profit. Datek diddled me until today.Their offer $1700.00 worth of free trades. It was pointed out to me some mumbo jumbo about our contract saying we're responsible etc.THIS is total BS as far as i'm concerned.Any order at market that does not get executed on a supposed greatest servers are THEIR responsibility.
The day after this datek screw up,was the big NYSE "blackout" i.e no trades went through to the NYSE,due to datek or whoever they use screw up..I put in 2 orders that would have neted me about $1500.00.
So 2 datek Screw ups,and I lose $3000.00 plus.

Hey threaders remember, any screw ups,say you can't get out of a trade and your geeting clonked.. well no matter what the server problem is..according to Datek..it's your fault.Hey mayby you'll get a lifetime of free trades..wow!
What i think is interesting is that I was informed that according to datek "the customer is always right"...(except when it comes to refunding money...don't you love responsibility).
I will keep you posted. GR
