...well, I guess the tongue in cheek question about all of NT's customer's demanding PWAV is a joke right ? There are only two customers in the world that have asked NT to use those amplifiers, Cellcom Israel and Bell South. As far as I know all other customers use the SPCT MCPA but still the majority of NT product is single carrier amplifiers not MCPA and SPCT is still supplying 80% of those to NT w/HP supplying the other 20%.

Lucent has a huge need for a new MCPA, there old Series II is 10 years old and long in tooth, technology and cost-wise. I believe they will probably be talking to either SPCT or PWAV soon as a source for a next generation MCPA as they really don't have that core competency anymore after the AT&T breakup.

SPCT/PWAV merge ? .....Hmmmmm what an interesting question. It depends I guess on whether the CEO's golf together. A more likely senario in my mind is that some big OEM will buy either of them outright if their stocks are low enough. I'm amazed it has'nt happened earlier.
