Seth, I'm not sure you are right, at least not until April 1, 1999. <<An amendment to Regulation T that will make all stocks trading in the Nasdaq Stock Market marginable at brokers and dealers will be effective January 1, 1999.>> Link to that quote: bog.frb.fed.us I was also wondering what, if anything, followed the word " marginable" in the following sentence you quoted: << A stock listed on the national market system is AUTOMATICALLY marginable >> I noticed there was no period at the end of the sentence, so it wasn't clear to me that you quoted the entire sentence, especially since the info you came up with seems at odds with the Fed information I found as provided above. Again, I'm not doing this to harass anyone, but I would like to see the entire document you quote from to see what light it might shed on the matter at hand. VALUESPEC
