Bill, you and I have a history with this one. I remember last year when ECharters mentioned KRY on the PFG thread, we ended up in a little discusion over it. I stopped playing this one a few weeks ago, but was always long. At some point though, the risk/reward stopped making sense, and I got out.
It suprises me a little to see every one getting so pissed off over this Arsenio character. Although I personally think he is wrong on this one, I fail to see much of a difference between what he has done, and for instance what a guy like Peter Grandich has done. Although they are on different sides of the issue, and Asensio went through far less trouble to support his views, they both tackle the subject as if they have all the answers. Throw in Bishop for good measure on this one. Although his reputation took a beating over CTQ, a recomendation from Bishop to buy has at least as much impact as a recomendation by this Arsensio character to sell. You very rarely hear anyone screaming though, if the recomendation is on the long side. I never played CTQ, but a lot of investors lost good money believing him, as a lot of investors lost good money believing Peter Grandich (COB, KRT just to name a few)
Reading the Asensio thing today was very annoying, even though I don't have a stake in this play any longer, but I fully believe he has a right to be heard, as does Charters, Bishop, Grandich etc etc.
They all have the tendency to talk as if their views are gospel. It is up to us as investors to take from it what we think will work for us.
Even on this thread, I find it hard not to be annoyed by a guy like Viper with his 250 posts telling us how stupid we all are, but I rather put up with it then see this or any other forum turn in to a fanclub.
All the best, Robert
