Lisa, you're right. This has happened before. Last June INTC
warned, opened down 8-10 points (I can't emember) and the NASDAQ100
was down over 60 points. INTC and the NASDQ recovered nicely.

But, in my opinion, this time is different. INTC gave away the store
to the box makers as the imagined intense competition. That assumption
was wrong and now they aren't making as much money on their product as
before. Further, CPQ is having real problems and they were a BIG
customer of INTC chips. CPQ really screwed up. They went to the K-6
to try to save money. Then they lost customer base because people
who buy quality brand name computers want the INTC chip. As the demand for
CPQ's boxes decreased, CPQ decided to try to make up the lost revenues by
seeling cheaper machines using the K-6 chip and cancelled some orders
for INTC chips.

This time is different. I wish it weren't. I have almost everything I
have locked up in INTC. Heck, I just converted my INTCW to INTC yesterday.
I do'nt know exactly what I am going to do tomorrow-if anything. But,
don't look for INTC to rebound very much. I believe we will test the Jan lows
of 69 1/2 and if that is broken, we will go to test the 12 month low of 62.

I hope I am wrong.
