Darrell: Thanks for good analysis. I think INTC announcement has a lot more to do with CPQs aqusition fallout. Dec is enough to choke a horse. From what I have read on these threads, my guess that CPQ management is on the defensive since the announcement and is turning the financials upside down to get them to make some sense. This includes using its pentium inventories up before placing new orders. DELL should come out ahead again, as CPQ flails away to somehow make this all work. What were they thinking! Because DELL and CPQ are in the S&P 500 index, watch out for a giant sucking sound as people lighten up on their index holdings.
