Dave what few are mentioning tonight is the fact that Intel had already said things weren't looking so good. When you couple that with the selling...it has significance.

What gets me about today's sell off in the after hours...is the perceived surprise the news is supposed to be.

If one followed the price cuts on the Pentium II chip, as mentioned in a few articles they'd have known something was coming.

But remember two things:

1) Intel hasn't stated it's earnings yet.

2) The sell off has only occurred after hours when the major markets are closed.
