Anyone who thinks there is no need for exponentially faster processors is unlikely to to be able to cope with the changes in the world over the next 10 years.

I use a 233mhz pentium with 128mb of Sdram. All you need to do is use Dragon Systems voice recognition software to realize what cheap processors 1,000 times faster would be able to add to our lives.
