All depends on whether Michael Dell or Tom Meredith comes out with some reassuring statement like they did last May when this happened. Both they and "Earl the Pearl" Mason from CPQ were on the wires last 5/30/97 right after Intel's 2Q warning, and they turned the markets (and DELL/CPQ stock prices) around, they both closed higher. You're not going to hear much from CPQ after Monday's ML conference, and I haven't (yet) heard anything reassuring from DELL -- has anyone?

Absent reassurance, expect initial panic sell off of all computer related stocks (except CPQ, which is about as beaten down as it can get), DELL could drop into the 120's before recovery - buying opportunity! If that happens, IMO we'll be lucky to see 135 or so by Friday.
