Fred, I too am down more than $50K at this time, having bought some in the 8's and 9's, as well as all the way down to the 4's. I'm not overly concerned however, because I feel the price is of little consequence until the development process is over and the revenue stream begins.
I've posted my (negative) opinion of some of the things that are being said over on Yahoo, but I will say the latest poster has it right in his "breast fed" comment in which he hopes the CEO has more important things to do than to update us on day-to-day progress.
These new-technology start-up companies do have to maintain a low profile (i.e. they can't reveal all that much for competitive reasons), and schedules will slide. It is not a suitable investment for those who require constant reassurance. No matter what the company may say, people tend to parse the statements and demand yet more explanations. I'm not saying we all wouldn't like to hear more, I'm just describing the facts of life.
It is unfortunate that your comments are sometimes interpreted as hype when in fact they represent a genuine belief in the eventual success of this little venture, base on all available information. But alas, it's easier to be critical than not to be. However, it is also fun to watch how quickly the tone here changes the instant things look more positive (or negative). Let's see which way it goes at the end of the month!
