Peacelover, I totally agree with you. There is too much doom and gloom dominating the thread. For those of us that are in for the long run, we don't want to let the "sky is falling" crowd to affect us. Many of these doom mongers are probably short sellers. Don't forget that the so-called "quiet period" which prohibits CPQ management from discussing their strategy vis a vis the CPQ-DEC merger will expire in a few days, and Pfieffer undoubtedly can do a lot better than Mason's rather mealy mouthed report on the earnings picture. Moreover, there have been some uplifting reports addressing CPQ's advances which are challenging IBM. Even if we get banged around a little bit, we should look beyond this near term turmoil.
