I agree with you - a weird combination of companies to be spun off together leaving what seems to be a primarily commercial bank. Have to assume that a least one objective is to provide a pure-play bank. No opinion on a buy-out, but I would tend to look at the "new" IMP instead of the spin-off because I can't figure out what the spin-off does (even after looking at the old 10-K's). Stew
