What many investors are coming to realize is that the Y2K problems, including the embedded problems, will also make networks more vulnerable to security hackers. As the systems fail, it is possible that if only the servers or main frames are the ones keeping the security integrity, the rest of the system becomes very vulnerable as it comes up without the computer(s) that was (were) doing the security work. I believe that a lot of money will also be spent on improving network total security. IBD's group ranking now stands at 27 out of 197. It was 34 11 days ago.
