In regards to your embedded PC question. I believe that Radisys and Windriver are two major embedded PC makers. Both trade on the NASDAQ and have had strong upward price movements due to their tremendous earnings growth. Radisys bought Intel's embedded systems division and is using PTEC's BIOS for the development of one of their new systems. I believe you can find that bit of news in PTEC's news archive or Radisys' web page.
