You are quite right, look to the long term

And Eric pointed out that Intel cited Europe not Asia.
However I have to warn people that I have always seen two scenarios, the long term decline and the short term blowout with regard to Asia.

Some of you may have noticed that the Nikkei did not tank the way the other markets in Asia did last night. That is because the Nikkei is being held up to protect the Japanese banks capital base. IF THAT EFFORT FAILS, that is the Nikkei starts to head down out of control, then the impact on us from Asia will come sooner.

That is why the valuations of stocks in the US market are particularly worrisome at this time.
