Edwin -
You say that Cramer had it right two weeks ago, when he commented on the probability of techs going down during earnings warning season.
I say he missed a couple of things. His own column, as you quoted, says, "How are we going to play it? We will probably cut back on our dicier tech holdings, the ones we have less conviction on, right at the beginning of March. We figure we can win the game of chicken then.<<
To me, this would indicate that he intended to hold on to the more solid techs, which by anyone's measure would include INTC, DELL, MSFT, etc. These very stocks will be slammed today.
Cramer was certainly correct in pointing out the quarterly tech swoon. But it doesn't look as though he's going to win this particular game of chicken.
Might be something to think about, though. Get into techs right at the end of each quarter, after the warnings are all in but before the actual reports start coming out. Get out when the second month of each quarter is over. Hmmmm.
