Dr. Wayne Bradbury, Ph.D., a Canadian Educator and co-founder of ITV Canada made this announcement today in Toronto. Dr Bradbury stated: "The strategic software will give Triad a huge technology head-start in the Canadian Market in network computing appliance."
John R. Varsames, President of Navis Technologies Ltd, of Burlington, Vermont, USA, described the system as an educator's and student's dream. Students log into school with a password and the insertion of a smart card - that takes attendance, downloads and corrects their homework, and transmits any parental communication to the teacher or administrators.
Dr. Bradbury and Mr. Varsames will be demonstrating the new technology in St. John's, Newfoundland to educators, telecommunication companies and cable television services starting today. The prospect of delivering educational Internet Access in a structured but creative environment to Canadian Schools and Homes at affordable prices will be the hallmark of Triad's success.
The agreement grants Triad Technologies Limited exclusive marketing rights to Canada for the Educational Software and options the financial and captive corporate markets as well.
