A quiet component of the project, and not sure of the duplex quality, but they claim to get up to 8 phone lines (or any mix of eight data/voice nodes) with their bi-directionally adaptable 768kbps bandwidth. Certainly SEEMS intriguing, especially with their affiliation with NetSpeed and it's "Digital Off-Hook" technology. Fwiw, BTAB lowered WSTL to a buy from strong buy today. Chris Crespi is saving a Strong Buy for when xDSL deployments actually begin... which he thought would be in June 97, and now anticipates could be in Sept. 98, but the carrier's continued delays keep better projections uncertain. IDC estimated that xDSL (all flavors) will grow 200+% into 2001 (whenever they actually start).
