<< I was going to vote for Paul Tsongas until I met President Clinton. >> I really liked Tsongas. Besides his sharp mind, he really had a quick wit and a great sense of humor. This country lost a great man. I didn't like Clinton when he first got into office. I didn't think that he deserved the most powerful, effective post in America. After all, as Governor of Arkansas, he was no more than a big city major, in my mind. But, America got lucky. We got a very capable, tough man in the White House. << Have come they didn't scan the news to see if there were OTHERS that he had hugged? >> The public is not interested in random hugs with other women. I think that the press is doing a great job. Freedom of the press is what keeps America a free country. Kenneth Starr's attempts to silence the press, lately, really scares me. That's the type of repression that you see in third world dictatorships. << for instance, I was at a Democratic convention here in South Florida. >> I am jealous. I haven't been involved in politics since I was a teenager, and had no idea what I was doing. Speaking of South Florida, my home town, we just got a chance to get Suarez out of office. I hope that the people of Miami keep him out. His election was overturned because of absentee voter fraud. The first thing he did, when he got into office, was to put indicted cohorts into positions of power. Then, he tried to fire our strong police chief. If they could've gotten rid of the police chief, they would've had a free hand to do as they liked. << I even have a picture with him HOLDING MY HAND and I too embraced him with a hug >> Great! What a great experience! Did you have any conversation with him? By the way, expect a summons from Kenneth Starr. << How come they don't show these clips proving he is a loving person. >> "The pot calling the kettle black!". While the Republicans and the Right Wing is trying to prove that Clinton is preoccupied with sex, instead, they are showing that THEY are preoccupied with sex. After all, Kenneth Starr's office has just spent millions of dollars to listen to and watch material of a sexual nature. What is wrong with this picture? I am getting very tired of our news being filled with sex allegations day in and day out. Who's fault is this? It certainly is not President Clinton's fault. << I was a delegate and if I had it to do all over again I would still vote for him. >> I wish that Clinton could run for another term. Perhaps in 2004? Are you still a delegate? How much time does that take? When was the first time that you became a delegate, and in which campaign? Dorine, it's been a real pleasure sharing thoughts. Have a great day! Bob |
