Come on, you're better than that post. That's like saying "if these stocks go up, we all make $$!" (ggg)

Seriously, I think we're all fully aware of who will do well if oil prices surge. Obviously PDE will do fine in that scenario, so will UTI, GW, and NBR. My only comment was based on the S-T and the way things turned out after they purchase. From hindsight, it appears that they bought those rigs at the top and paid NE too much. Maybe they're just unlucky. But I do believe that L-T prospects are still better for the deepwater drillers even if oil prices return to $20 because of the long lead time in building them as opposed to land rigs and barges. I give NE high marks for unloading all of their land rigs, barges, and shallow jackups in late '96 and '97. Looking after the fact, wouldn't you?
