As Roger McNamee, the Peter Lynch of high-tech, has said one almost never buys at the bottom. It is the smart investor who sees value and buys before the general market see it, because if you wait you might just miss the ride since techs can rocket straight up.

This is McNamee's opinion, and I think it currently applies to CPQ. Sure, CPQ might go down another of couple of points, but its hard to find the bottom. If you think CPQ is a good value...BUY. Just look what Stan Standridge wrote in March of 1996 (the first post of this thread), and one might begin to realize that these short term blips mean nothing in the long run.
