Charles,
You have a great sense of humor.

In any case, in my opinion SUNW will do just fine medium term and long if they meet or exceed their numbers for this quarter. The kinds of secular shifts that intel is seeing in its markets (sub-1000 PC) etc do not exist in the higher end workstation market. The success of the high end servers from SUNW, HP is proof of that. NT will eat into lower end worksatation, but till scalability issues are addressed they will not be able to make a dent in the high end.
Everybody is scurrying for high end growth (unit shipment increases dosen't mean diddly if the price keeps falling).

I am holding on to my shares, even if they drop some. I have been around long enough to know that trying to time the market (alhough an exciting game) dosen't prove productive in the long run.
I would rather stay in the market with its ups and downs with strong companies than try to guess tops and bottoms everytime there is a strong market move (in either direction). Contary to Addi, I don't consider sell-offs "idiotic" (whether they occur due to Asia or Intel), and do not have the ability to predict the timing of "once in a century bargains". But I do believe that "those who are not in the market due to the fear that it will go down, in the long run, do much worse than investors who stick with ups and downs."

I do as a risk averse investor, pay some premium and buy protective puts on my stocks which serves as insurance to ride through rough times of temporary volatility.

Regards
