The following is a message received in response to my request for the Yahoo posters who are ASND employees to speak-up about how things are at the company (it was also responding to a Yahoo, who said they had heard ASND equipment was going down at UUNET - which I commented I thought that was 97Q2 or 97Q3 stuff, far too old to matter today):

Dennis,

I cannot speak to the UUNET statement specifically, but the TNT product in general is solid. UUNET continues to be a strong account for Ascend and I expect this relationship to not only continue but grow significantly.

Since the acquisition of Cascade I have seen the quality of not only the TNT but all asnd products improve immensely. Asnd has evolved and expanded their the product base and is now the best of bread in carrier class switches, routers and RAS.

In general all is well at Ascend. I expect good things to come out of todays conference.

It was my understanding that there was a conference in Colorado, today. Maybe the reason I hadn't heard back from IR is because they had to go the Santa Barbara yesterday and Colorado today. Let's pray for some good news. I was so near profitable for a few minutes last week, and getting ready to be happy again.

Dennis
