I agree, that "Elite Corporate Membership" gave an appearance of legitimacy to GIFS which helped dissuade me from listening to those who were touting the real story about GIFS. This whole episode sure emphasizes the truth of the old saying "The pen is mightier than the sword." They could never have gotten us to open our checkbooks by using a gun. Nor could they have contacted that many people without the written word on the Internet.
