Hi, Carol-- One thing I had to have beaten into my head when I started playing the stock game is that a company and its stock are two different animals. How well, or poorly, a company is doing has little to do with its stock price is a mantra in investing.
That being said, I can understand how a few hundred people might get hoodwinked into investing in this firm.
And yes, if this stock was trading at $10, I would still stay away...I would be tempted to short it, actually, but I don't have enough experience to play those games, yet.
If you look at my portfolio, you'll see I have a number of doubtful companies' stock. I have learned enough from them to not repeat my errors too quickly.
Oh, and perhaps you can tell me, Carol, why this company deserves your investment dollars. I am not sure that a increasing share price is a valid answer.
Good luck!
