I can't make money of my puts, 'cause you shorts don't leave this sucker alone to do its own damage.

Everytime AOL goes up you keep attributing to shorts not leaving it alone. Could you provide your basis for that conclusion, such as as information from your broker, change in the number of AOL shares shorted (which is reported once a month, but maybe you have access that average investors). Otherwise there are other factors that will cause AOL to go up, so don't just blame it on people who have short position.
