Dug, it seems that the market is not concerned with MOT "looking forward" forecast. Globex barely budged. In a week or two, when the weight of additional such forward looking reductions in forecasts are going to hit, then the downgrades are going to hit with higher frequency and the market may reflect this. I think that the coming two weeks might be weak, but I would suggest that real weakness will have to wait longer. I have the gut feeling that the Asian markets are going to be propped "artificially" at least until the end of the Japanese Fiscal year (April 1st, I believe). Namely, Nikkei 16,000 will be defended with whatever resources are required. After that, reality may reestablish itself. Just my turnips' two cents.
