Check out their new website which is located still at the address www.amcan.com.

Depending on what happens in Angola and Sierra Leone in the next 4 weeks will dictate whether the company stays at its current levels or begins an increase possibly reminiscent of January, February 1997 before the Bre-X fiasco crushed the junior mining sector. The company will continue to build a positive reputation with the industry and astute mining analysts /investors as a solid player once they can establish operations. Operations hopefully will be underway within a month, country situation allowing, in Angola, and the direction Sierra Leone is going in regards to the diamond industry within Sierra Leone should be announced possibly within the next month, something a person following the company and situation in Sierra Leone would of never thought less than a month ago today.

Immediate needs of a junior mining company:

1) Prime properties

2) Experience with the trade and industry

3) To be operational and producing

4) To have major brokerages recommend their respective company

5) Cash Flow - Significant Amount

Sierra Leone and Angola are loaded with prime properties.

AmCan has a well diversified team and experience from 2 other countries through acquiring Armsec and Oriole, including their own since 1993. Lion Mining Consulting and Finance to evaluate current properties and potential acquisitions as well as acquire financing. The company has come a long way since December 1996. Read the press releases beginning with the Armsec acquisition and you will have a better idea of what I am saying.

Could be in operations with in a months time if Angola continues to be relatively peaceful.

The above could trigger attention with in the industry.

The last two could trigger a higher stock price, a possible financing that at higher levels would not dilute the stock as much as a lower priced company, and ultimately have enough cash flow from operations and financing to apply for the Toronto Stock Exchange.

I know this is the big picture scenario but it could happen and countries permitting, possibly all within 1998.

I am only an investor of the company who has followed it for over a year now. The opinion expressed here is only mine. Would appreciate to hear any thoughts, especially an astute mining investor who has performed due diligence on the company.
