GM.... I tend to think that that is because the news came out later than the INTC news and therefore alot of traders were already in their porches on the way to palatial estates.... what is true is that MOT is no INTC and its problems are quite different. However that is part of the problem... they have specifically blamed a lot of their trouble on the fish'n'chips bizzzz. interestingly they have also siad that they hoped the imf loans would help stabilize things ---- but they haven't.... AND U KNOW WHAT THAT MEANS ---- IT MEANS MORE LOANS... yes folks undeterred by the S&L debacle... the South American debacle... we are going to put more money after bad and prop up a bunch of undemocratic regimes that steal from their industrious peoples and force them to work long hours in unsafe enviroments for less than a living wage so we can buy what we don't need more cheaply..... I know a lot of u will say well that's the way the system works... what i'm trying in my rather inept way to point out is THAT IS DOESN'T...

fyi here's a rather droll url that is pretty relevant to those on this thread who like to live life with their head in the sand.
