Thank you, Mark, for filling us in on the European DBS scene. Sounds like DBS is a lot more popular in Europe. Those small dishes must be a familiar site there. Wow. So Echostar is one of two leaders in European DBS (multi-sat) systems. Sounds like they're getting their feet wet in Europe. By the way, I bought a DMX system (for about $700) a few months back. I will put it up soon. 95 24-Hour, non-stop Music Channels (soon to be 120), much of the music is European. Dutch, German, Danish, Norwegian, Scottish, Irish, even 24-Hour Flamenco, it's a recordable mini-disc owner's dream! I hope DISH gives us plenty of European programming. I thought by now television would truly be global. I grew up playing tournament table tennis, was ranked #1 in the U.S. in every junior age group, took up tennis & racketball. I'm looking forward to trying to play European music by ear on my (circum-1980) Roland synthesizer, which I bought last month for $275. I was a big fan of Peter Gabriel's Genesis and saw them three times.
Cheers,
