Hi Christine, I have been ill for a few days, so I am a little behind in my posting. To add a little fuel to the fire, when I was in Wisconsin I caught about the last 10 minutes of a show on the Nazis. I can't recall if it was on Discovery, A&E, or Learning channel, but it was referring to recently discovered documents that showed that Catholic cardinals helped Nazi officers escape to South America after the war. It will probably be repeated. It makes one wonder why they would do that, and why we never learned about the role of the Churches in Nazi Germany in our World History course in high school or elsewhere. What galls me is that a nationally read editorialist blamed the holocaust and Naziism on Atheists. Don't worry about Michael. Do not stoop to his level. Your knuckles will drag on the ground then. It is an insecure person that cannot have his beliefs challenged with facts. A person secure in his beliefs, can have those beliefs challenged, and if they are valid, they become stronger because they have withstood being challenged. This is a basic tenet of science, and is the reason why the mythological belief in religion will ultimately fail. Del
