Dee Jay,
Do you also post to the AOL stock message boards or is it a relative? The reason that I ask is, they seem to have the same problem with someone posting who doesn't own the stock, and probably never will, but feels obligated to post negative comments on a regular basis...rather then re-invent the wheel with my own reply..I will copy one of the best replys that I have read, that even you might understand!
"These boards were meant to be for people who are common investors in a company, or thinking of investing in a company, to share information and ideas. If you don't like a company, aren't invested in it, and don't plan to be, why the hell are you here? If you look at who is posting on this and other boards, you will see it is usually the same 15 to 25 people every day. So what do you hope to accomplish by wasting your time to post a negative comment? You might convince a couple people here to sell, but it sure won't do anything to affect the stock price. I have invested in companies that I became disillusioned with, so I sold the stock and left the board. If I'm no longer interested in investing in a co., I have no need to keep reading or posting to that board. Almost without exception, you will find one or two bashers on every stock board there is. Why they do this I don't know, as the only thing they accomplish is to annoy everyone else. Maybe this is the only reason they do it."

PS: Most of us like to relax and have a good time when we post a message and hopefully make some money in the process, so you can take your spelling corrections and stick it! I realize your mommy probably was proud of her boy, when he would win a blue ribbon in the spelling bee. Well, noone here wants to be your mommy--at least I hope not;-) |
